Stuart Wilson

A passionate real estate professional with a focus on maximizing value for investors, Stuart is a graduate of the Masters of Real Estate program at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Development and Real Estate Investment.

Hailing from New Zealand, he also holds a Dual Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland. He worked in roles covering multiple asset classes, in feasibility, development and asset management. Stuart’s strong analytical, financial and management experience spans the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the GCC, having worked for operators, developers, investors and in the public sector.

Recent projects include:

• A strategic review of the hospitality, leisure and residential holdings of a major US REIT
• Development of a midscale lifestyle hotel concept, including the financial feasibility for a private equity fund to finance the roll out of an initial 10 hotels across the GCC.
• Conducting over 120 feasibility studies for Hotel, Hotel Apartment, Food and Beverage, Spa and Leisure projects in the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco and Tanzania.
• Creation of a Excel / VBA model to forecast 10 year monthly cash flows for hotel projects in the GCC incorporating over 800 variables in full compliance with USALI 11th Edition.
