INHOCO Group engages Chinese Entrepreneurial Community in truly British Style
Proving its truly international credentials, INHOCO Group recently attended several days of engagments and events with Chinese partners and the wider Chinese entrepreneurial commnuity in the United Kingdom. Attending Royal Ascot, one of the highlights of the English summer season in the company of Royalty – INHOCO Group’s party, led by Triston Zhao, our Director of Business Development and Investment for Greater China, and Rob Garrett, who has previously worked on multiple hospitality development projects in Greater China.
During the day at Royal Ascot, the INHOCO guests included Her Royal Highness Princess Katarina, Lady de Silva – past President of the Guld of Travel and Tourism, and Lord and Lady Oxmanhurst. Lord Oxmanhurst has been for the past two decades a leading proponent of Chinese international relations, developing project relations across Greater China for a number of businesses.
INHOCO Group’s team was pleased to host Dr. Hu Zhirong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Commission of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Chairman of the United World Chinese Association and Chairman of the Avlight Kaixuan Group. Dr. Hu also serves as a council member of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a council member of the Chinese Federation of Friendship Cities, Vice President of China-Korea Friendship Association, Advisor to China Health Express Foundation, Advisor to China Huangpu Solidarity Association and President of its Beijing chapter, Vice Chairman of the Capital Entrepreneurs Club, and Honorable Chairman of Hong Kong Chamber of International Investment. Energy, real estate and culture constitute the three core businesses of the Avlight Kaixun Group, which also owns the largest audio equipment manufacturing base in Asia and 3,000 Avlight retail stores in China.
The day ended by meeting numerous further international investors resident in London’s prime Belgrave Square, at the annual charitable event. INHOCO established good links with Turkish and Monaco based entrepreneurial Family Office principals.
The following day, INHOCO Group was a participant at the Hurun Report conference on engaging with the Chinese Private Sector at London’s BAFTA headquarters in Piccadilly. More than ten leading entrepreneurs from China’s burgeoning private sector attended the conference to engage with international investors and experts under the patronage of UK Trade & Investment, whose Minister Lord Francis Maude gave a welcome speech.
Among the notable entrepreneurial leading lights from China in attendance were Dr. Chan Chai, Chairman of Reignwood Investment;, Mr Wang Qicheng, at 32, China’s youngest recent dollar billionaire; Jim Ye Mingqin of Goldenport Holdings, a leading investor in the Real Estate and Automotive trading sector; Li Jinyuan, Chairman of Tiens Group, which recently sent 6400 participants on an incentive trip to Nice, France. Yuan Yafei of Sanpower, the billionaire who recently bought the House of Fraser; Zhou Xiaoguang of Neoglory, one of China’s most respected female billionaires; Bruno Wu of SunMedia, one of the most active Chinese entrepreneurs on the global scene; Chen Rong of Zhonglu, one of China’s most active venture capital billionaires investors, with investments in 100+ companies; Tim Tse of the House of Roosevelt, the PE founder of Shanghai’s most influential private club; Wang Xin of Forise Holdings, founder of one of China’s more important real estate and finance houses;
Inhoco Group established some fantastic relationships both with Chinese entrepreneurs, and also the wider international community through this series of events, which will be followed by further business visits and projects in China in the autumn of 2015.
